We are very excited to have some of our friends and family out supporting us on Sunday. It is SO much easier to trudge 13.1 miles when you see a familiar face every few miles!
Even if you're not running, come out and enjoy the day and give a clap for the thousands of runners participating.
Here are some resources to help you navigate the course. The full and half marathon start at 8:00am and the 5k starts at 11:00am.

Willow Tree Half Marathon
The blog posts are going to continue to stay a little spotty until we finish up with this half marathon May 3rd. Then we'll get back out to exploring some new routes and running a bunch of shorter races.
In the meantime, stick with the race calendar, it's become pretty comprehensive! And if your race isn't up there, email us and let us know!

Owwwwwww!
First running-related fall yesterday. (Only took me 5 years, not bad.) Mile 4 of an 8-mile out and back. I was JUST about to turn around!
SO much sand on the sidewalks and so I didn't see a little lip between two of the concrete slabs. BAM- down on both knees and both hands.
Ryan and I were out there together, which was good, it wasn't getting dark, wasn't cold or raining, all good. But I did have to run home 4 miles with bloody legs and hands, I ripped my favorite pair of capris and yes, it really hurt. (still does.)
Outside of that, it was a good run and we'll post the route later tonight or tomorrow!

New Races Up
Our training has been pretty interrupted by life lately, but we're hoping to get back out tomorrow.
In the meantime, a some more races up on the Race Calendar. Next year, no spring half marathon so we can spend our weekends doing all these fun 5ks instead of long runs!

Bad Run this Weekend
Had a horrible run on Saturday. Meant to log 10 miles, ended up with waaaaaaaaaay less. Did an out and back starting into the wind and just was NOT feeling it. We're planning on a couple 4-5milers this week and then another 10 (for real this time) on Saturday.
